WatKat is a FREE plugin in VST format for Mac (Intel) and Windows. It's a clone of the Watkins "Custom" Copicat, a tape echo machine of the sixties, but more than a simple free plugin, WatKat is a "digital" tribute to Charlie Watkins of London, the man who in 1958 invented the first echo machine using a short tape loop. He also built the very first 1000 Watts PA system and he was a pioneer in many Hi-Fi audio applications.
