Q: MrRay73 Mark II crashes in some versions of Logic/Mainstage.
A: It has been reported that MrRay73 Mark II may crash Logic 9 under Mac OSX 10.6.x in a 64 bits environment. The cause of this crash is still unknown and unresolved. We apologize for this.

Video Tutorial: How to manually install a plug-in in OSX Lion



This short video tutorial from GSi shows how to manually install a virtual instrument in OSX Lion, and it takes VB3 AU as an example, but the same procedure is valid for both AU and VST formats and works in Mountain Lion too.

The problem with OSX from 10.7 is that the USER LIBRARY is hidden by default. You have to press the OPTION KEY onto your computer keyboard while viewing the Finder "GO" menu, and the menu item "Library" will magically appear!

Also, it is necessary that you are logged in as an administrator user in order to set the proper permissions to files and folders.

Video Tutorial: How to manually install a plug-in in OSX Mountain Lion



In this other video I'm doing the same install on a different Mac, this time the OSX is version 10.8.3 and the host I'm using for testing the installation is Mainstage 2.
Sometimes it's not necessary to correct the permissions, and in fact I'm skipping that passage in this video.
