Launching GSi Vibe Lab.
GSi Vibe Lab is where we build instruments differently: with AI as part of the development process.
We want to be clear about what that means. AI does not design our instruments, and it is not given a blank page. The code comes from a close dialogue with people who have spent more than twenty years writing audio DSP software. Since 2003 we have modelled tonewheels, rotary speakers, electric pianos and other vintage instruments, and that experience is still what decides how a Vibe Lab product should sound and behave. We define the goals, set the parameters and listen to every result. Then we correct it, reject it, or ask for something better. The AI makes the work faster. The judgement stays human.
This changes how quickly we can turn an idea into a working instrument, and that lets us do two things. First, we can offer new, more affordable instruments with their own character, alongside the products GSi has released over the years. Second, the lab is a testing ground: what we learn here feeds back into all our work and helps it improve.
Vibe Lab products are not replacements for our established instruments, and we won’t pretend they are. They are honest experiments, made with care, and priced to reflect what they are.
We believe these tools work well only when they are guided by people who know what music should feel like. Vibe Lab is our attempt to prove it.
Plugins belonging to the GSi Vibe Lab will show this badge on the top of the product page.
